Glass industry: Soda ash is a solvent and calcium is a stabilizer that provides chemical stability.
Detergent and cleaning agents industry: Soda ash, together with other sodium compounds, forms an important active filler in the range of detergents and cleaning agents.
Chemical industry: mineral fertilizers, phosphates, chromates, sulfites, water glass, sodium inorganic salts such as sodium organic salts, as well as soda used to make dyes and pigments. Soda is used to regulate and maintain the proper pH of solutions in chemical processes that require it. Soda is also used to neutralize and precipitate metals and some chemical compounds.
